Jacky H and Natalie K are organizing the Christmas Shoebox Appeal again this year. We were really excited about how many were donated last year, and would like to see as many again! We should appreciate gifts of completed shoeboxes or suitable items as listed.

Box categories are

Impoverished Romanian children are most in need of educational, entertaining and hygiene items such as:

– Facecloth and soap (no liquid soaps) – Packets of sweets
– Pens, pencils, paper, colouring books – Gloves, hat, scarf
– Small toys – handmade or shop-bought – Ball, playing cards (but no novels)

The Home boxes are given to families, many of which are comprised of several generations ; they contain
basic equipment for cooking and family care.
